Book Petrohué River Rafting from Puerto Varas, Los Lagos – Adventure on the Río Petrohué

Summary: We had a fantastic time with Franco as our guide. It was fun and exhilarating, and we always felt safe. Our only wish was that we could have spent more time on the river, but the value for the price was outstanding!

Summary: Very fun rafting guides!! The rafting time was a little short, but the rapids were wonderful! I like that they extended the trip by adding a time for “very small cliff” jumping. The photographer was really great and affordable for digital photos.

Summary: Great river with amazing scenery. Liked the guides and their willingness to work with teenagers. The company is safety conscious but still has fun. Enjoyed our time one the river. Yes I think we hit most of the biggest waves. Great way to end our time in Chile.

Summary: The whole experience was great, we were collected from Puerto Varas and driven direct to the site. There we were given in depth instructions (in Spanish and English) and all the equipment needed. Once ready and briefed, we were driven further up the river where we boarded the boats and enjoyed he rapids. Super safe but thrilling, lovely commentary about the area and history while there and a snack and beer to finish. All the staff are very professional and friendly. Shout out to the two instructors on our trip who were both 10/10. Well worth the money, deffo recommend!

Summary: The half day raft trip down the Petrohue was amazing! The water is beautiful, the rapids are action packed and the scenery is incredible. Best part is the raft guides who bring great knowledge, safety and hype!

Summary: The ko’kayak team were very friendly and professional and encouraged us to enjoy our first white water rafting experience as a family. The safety briefing in English (and Spanish) was clear and the equipment (neoprene bib leggings, jacket, boots and the life vest) were quality and in good condition. Our raft pilot Paz was great fun and she quickly got us working as a team even though we were different nationalities. There is another raft for safety and a photographer in a kayak taking photos to purchase at the end. The whitewater was strong and fast but we felt safe. There was an opportunity to jump in to the (cold) water from a ledge half way along the trip which some of us did and was perfectly safe. The rafting itself lasted 1 hour. We recommend it. Thanks for a great trip!

Summary: Great adventure. Fantastic guides and nice cafe after the trip to warm up and enjoy some coffee/tea and warm snacks. Our guide Marcos Gallegos was outstanding and an expert on the water. I would 100% recommend Ko’Kayak.

Summary: We had SO much fun rafting with Ko Kayak, and it was even in the pouring rain! The guides were amazing, especially Eli. The rapids were big enough to enjoy but still good for beginners. 10/10 would do it again!
